It was confirmed today that Carrie Fisher will return to the silver screen along with Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford for the new Star Wars trilogy directed by J.J. Abrahms. The exact details about whether or not they will be reprising their iconic roles as Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo are unclear. What is known is that the three will appear in the new films. Disney purchased the Star Wars franchise from Lucasfilms late in 2012 and announced a new trilogy early this year. Rumor has it that Samuel L. Jackson also wants to be a part of the project. Something that may prove tricky seeing as Jackson’s character Mace Windu died in the conclusion of the last trilogy.
