Which Cell Phone Is The Best in 2019?

Do you need a cell phone to play Intertops casino bonus or do you need a cell phone to be a phone with the best clarity?  If you ask three different people what features they are looking for in a cell phone, you are going to get three different answers.  What might be the perfect cell phone for one person may not be the right choice for a different person, so you not only have to know what features each cell phone has, but also what are you looking for in a cell phone.

Below I compared the buying experience of three different people who recently bought cell phones, and which phone they ended up choosing.  This is not intended to be a complete comparison of the three phones. It is just a highlight of the features that stood out to each person.

Person 1 (Dave): Doogee S90 Pro Bundle

Dave wanted to upgrade his phone because his old one was 5 years old and it was a bottom of the line phone when it was first bought.  Dave was now working his first “real job”, so he decided to splurge and get himself a good quality phone that also had some “fun” bells and whistles.

Dave chose the Doogee S90 Pro Bundle that included:

  1. Extra battery pack
  2. Walkie talkie
  3. Gamepad
  4. Nightvision Camera

Dave also liked that the Doogee S90 Pro was a solid rugged phone that was waterproof and it could hold up to getting dropped.  This phone could be submerged in 1.5 m of water for up to 2 weeks and come up working.

It was also a 6.18” screen and 6GB ROM + 128GB RAM

As you can tell, this is an outdoorsy person’s phone.  Selling at around $299 (modules are more), it is a solid phone in the $150 – $300 price range.  You can look at Doogee’s website for more details on the core processor, camera, and other technical specifications.

Person 2 (Lisa): Doogee n100

Lisa is horrible at remembering to charge her phone.  So the one main feature that Lisa was looking for was a huge battery.  The Doogee n100, with its 10000mAh battery, met that requirement.

A 10000mAh battery allows 100 hours of talk time, 20 hours of watching videos, 20 hours of playing games, 35 hours of listening to music, and 350 hours in standby mode.  For low usage of a phone (Lisa’s current habits), that is a month of power in standby mode assuming that the phone is only turned on 10 hours a day.

Lisa also wanted a large screen, so the screen size of 5.99” was on the low end, but acceptable.

Other features that Lisa liked:

  1. 4GB ROM + 64GB RAM
  2. 21MP Camera.
  3. Android 9.0 Pie
  4. Screen Size of 5.99”
  5. F/2.0 Aperture Camera

The phone can also be used to charge other devices, which is called OTG reverse charging.  With fast charging, it only takes 3.5 hours to charge the battery, and it can be charged wirelessly.

Another feature that specifically stood out for Lisa was the ability of the phone to handle low light photos.  “As the sun fades, the fun begins. We don’t want your photo parade to lack natural light and rain. That’s why Doogee breaks through the light environment limitation.  Use an F/2.0 large aperture, and take photos according to your conditions!” In other words, no more horrible photos, because you tried to take a photo in low light conditions, either indoors or outdoors.

The Doogee n100 sells for around $158.  You can read the full detailed specifications on Doogee’s website.

Person 3 (Steve): Redmi Note 7

Steve is a practical kind of person.  The quality of the core processor and the quality of the camera were the most important features of a phone for Steve.  Steven decided to buy the Redmi Note 7. No “wow” features of insane battery size or rugged waterproof phone for Steve. Steven was just interested in the guts of the phone.

He was interested in a phone that had the best core processor and camera for his money.

  1. 48MP + 5MP AI dual rear camera
  2. Screen Size of 6.3”
  3. Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 core processor
  4. 4GB ROM +128GB RAM
  5. 13MP front camera
  6. AI portrait mode, background blurry
  7. AI Beautify
  8. Selfie timer
  9. Video stabilization
  10. Panorama mode
  11. Low light enhancement

The Redmi Note 7 sells for around $180, and you can read the full detailed specification on Redmi’s website.

Summary

So the answer to the question of what is the best cell phone for your money in 2019 is that there is no one answer.  Before even walking into the store, think about yourself and how you want to use your cell phone, and what is important to you.

  1. Do you have small kids that do not know how to be gentle with a phone?
  2. Do you want to take pictures of the kids splashing at the waterpark?
  3. Do you want to know that your pictures will turn out well rain or shine, indoors or outdoors?
  4. Are you a businessperson that can’t risk your phone losing battery power just when you need to make that important phone call?
  5. Do you like to play games on your phone?

What is most important to you may not be the same as the person sitting next to you.  That is why you need to know yourself first before you begin looking at phones and phone specifications.
