From boating to camping to everything in between, Oklahoma is all about getting you outside. With some of the most scenic views and breathtaking sunsets in the country, the Sooner State definitely qualifies as a hidden gem.
Plus, for those who love being in and around the water, Oklahoma is chock-full of picturesque lakes. From the tourist-friendly Broken Bow Lake in the southeastern corner of the state to the quiet, tranquil Eucha Lake in the foothills of the Ozarks, you’re sure to find a body of water that’s calling out to you. Just make sure to pack plenty of sunscreen if you’re swimming in the summer, because the Oklahoma heat is no joke!
