The Splat Makes Nickelodeon Cool Again

The Splat

All of you 90s kids have to remember the awesome programming that was on Nickelodeon back in the day. We were all addicted to Keenan and Kel, Doug and Legends of the Hidden Temple, just to name a few.

Now we all can relive those amazing shows with the Nickelodeon’s new programming block called The Splat. It kicked off on October 5th and so far it has been pretty successful.

The only downfall is that the shows run from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. But this is a really smart move on Nickelodeon’s part. A lot of these shows made Nick famous. So it is a really good idea to bring back their most popular shows. I bet a lot of today’s kids will start to like these old shows as well. Maybe they will even bring the shows back to air at a more decent time.

It is hard to forget just how much time we all spent watching our favorite shows. It is also going to be cool to see how some big celebrities got their start. For example, Melissa Joan Hart got her start on Clarissa Explains it All. Keenan Thompson first started on All That and then got his own show, Keenan and Kel.

The Splat is full of hours and hours of 90s shows like All That, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Hey, Arnold! Clarissa Explains it All, Keenan & Kel, Catdog, Hey Dude, The Angry Beavers, The Ren & Stimpy Show, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Rocko’s Modern Life, Rugrats, Salute your horts, The Wild Thornberrys,

On the first night of The Splat, viewers were able to catch reruns of The Adventures of Pete and Pete, You Can’t Do That On Television, The Ren and Stimpy Show and Doug.
